Paper Moon

An introspective reflection throughout the streets of the city

The city carries all the stars far away, too far to be visible to the naked eye
The moon conversely bewilders the eye even through houses and buildings
and shines bright when you least expect it.
Still the same yet different. Unattainable but familiar.
Guardian of our dreams and inside those at the same time

Now the city is full of all possible moons. Echoes of our most intimate and profound aspirations.
Gentle and private moons, or caged and vulnerable?
Rebels or guardians of the hearts?
Feminine metaphore?
Are we inside looking outside?
Or maybe is the opposite, are we outside inward looking?
